In the dark I sit
Looking around my room
Hearing sounds, breathing fast
Nothing looks familiar right now
Images from the past
Bad memories I thought I lost
Return now in full force
Sitting alone, no one near to help
I cry in the dark, like the little girl I was too short
Or perhaps too long
Not strong enough to fight
Not strong enough to cope
Red mixing with salt
Slowly losing hope

Ever felt less than dust
When you are sad
But still feel you must
Please others while feeling bad
Putting on a mask to hide
So no one can really see
How you feel inside
Trying your best to flee
But still chained to this life
Suffering each day
No end to this strife
Wishing to just walk away
Paralised by fear
Being a fly on the wall
No one can see me clear
Silently waiting for the fall
Hoping for a door
A way to get out
Even a hole in the floor
Nothing, so I silently shout
Feeling trappped
Help
Something snapped

What do you do when you feel alone
Feel like crying into the night
but don't dare to close your eyes
don't dare to lay down your head
Afraid those images and memories will come back
so you sit here alone
crying away in the night
not knowing what to do
thoughts drive you nuts
helpless, frustrated, sad, and alone
scared, not knowing where to go
a little cut, a drop of blood
the only way of calming down
must stay quiet, must stay hidden
have no voice, make no noise
in the dark a little light
tears already gone
deserving every bit of madness
every freaking bit of sadness
you are me
and i hate you.

Okay, so maybe it's corny and stuff, but I still like it..
A friend sent me this, who got it from someone else...you know how it goes.
Written with a pen, Sealed with a kiss.
If you are my friend, Please answer
this:
Are we friends Or are we not?
You told me once But I forgot.
So tell me now And tell me true
So I can say....I'm here for you.
Of
all the friends I've ever met,
You're the one I won't forget.
And if I
die Before you do,
I'll go to heaven And wait for you.
I'll give the
angels Back their wings
And risk the loss Of everything,
just to prove
my friendship is true have a friend like you!

Lately so tired, can hardly keep my eyes open and fall asleep in the middle of the day. Cant stay up late anymore much either. So sleepy..
Can hardly do anything...I'll try to do the afternoon shift today at the shelter, but not the morning shift now..

Down, up, down, up, moods can feel like rollercoasters
Feel like shit one moment, someone gets on, talk a bit with that person, poof, happy mood.
Wee, fun when you can't even count on your own feelings.
Still, good moods are fun.

Someone was using my IRC nick CG, but with the help of friends I'm now set on autokill..
So impersonators, beware!

With summer approaching, not many volunteers are left at the shelter, and a lot of people dump their dogs. So we're filling up..
Luckily, also a couple of dogs found new owners recently. We cheer for Pongo (a kind of Lassie-dog), Jacky (yes, a Jack Russel Terrier), Dribbel (remember Dribbel's story, the Yorkshire terrier?), Diddle (an older kind of Jack russel who found a new home with two loving old people, saw them waiting after a test day to pay the money for Diddle, and just kept talking to me, telling what Diddle did at their place, from cuddling to following them around, I think he found a great new home), Frodo (a blonde labrador retriever with a black spot on his ear, very sweet too) and one of our Boykes (a Westie).
We had two Boykes, both Westies too, so that was pretty complicated. Add a rotweiler named Boy, and confusion has fun. Luckily, now we only have one Boyke left. A Westie.
So, right now, in the shelter, we have French, Sjors, Duca, Chico, Kees, Jan, Tanja, Goofy, Vincent, Wolf, Roy, Tara, Peanut, Jaap, Boyke, Bobo, Mikey, Max, Willem, Tarzan, Police, Bingo, Casey, Benji, Hans, Hennie and Gerrit.
All dogs with their own story, but I love them all!
